Mike's All Day Breakfast in Kennebunk, Maine

Mike's All Day Breakfast is a neighborhood spot in Kennebunk that does what it says: straightforward eggs, pancakes, French toast, and a few lunch dishes cooked fresh. It's a regular haunt for locals and a reliable pit stop for travelers heading to and from the port. The place is clean, the staff knows the menu inside and out, and they'll make sure you're taken care of.

• Cinnamon swirl French toast that justifies the drive.
• Staff who actually listen and know vegetarian options.
• Prices that feel fair for the portion and quality.
• Reasonable wait times and good parking nearby.

Start with the cinnamon swirl French toast if you're leaning sweet. The two eggs with home fries and sourdough toast is solid breakfast math, done well. Pancakes are a winner with kids. Hot oatmeal with fruit is lighter if you want it. Ask your server about the new mimosas.

Cozy and clean with a neighborhood feel. The dining room can get busy, but there's outdoor seating if you want a quieter meal.

Guests return the next day because the food sticks with them. A recent visitor called it 'the BEST in Kennebunkport for breakfast' after driving from Texas. People praise the staff for being genuinely kind and the place for feeling fresh and cared for.
